Ticking mechanical clock with a pendulum.

This is the sound of my great grandma's helen clock. It's got about 100 years! a piece of history at my home. I love this sound.

I recorded it with my blue yeti. It's from a eggwatch.

This is sound that feels slow with constant little pauses. It didn't have to be activated by someone, it's the automatic sound a watch makes.

This second sound is a recorded sound of two plastic bottles, i modified it using some effects :. 1-normalize2-phaser effect with-phases = 24-original/modified = 195-frequency = 1. 0 hz-start phase = 0-depth = 100-return = -80%3-change the speed with percentage = -43. 000. The final sound gives an impression that we are hearing the hands of a clock. .

Ticking s/fx. Good for many clock or watch sounds. It is actually a taylor mechanical kitchen timer. It was recorded with a contact mic in anechoic chamberclock_02 is the same timer but was recorded with an external mic, and has a thinner sound, more like a wrist watch type sound. A heavy impact noise created by pounding on a wall covered in bed foam. Creates a nice muffled slamming effect without the smacking sound of flesh hitting wood.

A ticking wall clock chimes 9 times, 10 times and 11 times. Including the ticking noise. The clock is old, so maybe the bell isn't that perfect, than newer ones.

I build it in fl studio (32bits) with the soundfonts plugin (the soundfont used was "sgm")overdubs were done with a "strings" sample and the rest was just the pure instrument with eq and reverb. (it also includes a subtle piano and choir).
